JRMZ’s Head Turning S2000

Nowadays, we see everything online — builds are documented from start to finish on blogs, forums, Instagram — and the “head-turning” factor isn’t always there when we see the finished product in real life “IRL.”  The HafaDazers absolutely LOVE seeing builds that we haven’t heard about through coconut wireless aka the social channels that we’ve grown accustomed to in recent years. Naturally, we were taken aback when we came across Jeremy “JRMZ” Javellana’s 2002 Honda S2000 at Offset Kings Guam 2015… Special thanks to Guizzy and Jeders (FPS Photo Video x Jed Espino Photo) for the photos!

That Rosso Corsa Ferrari red paint by Murer’s Garage immediately grabs your attention. Paired with aggressive aero that includes an ASM style front bumper, Veilside trunk spoiler, J’s Racing style rear diffuser, and these Circuit Garage overfenders, you simply can’t miss this car in a car show, a mall parking lot, or it parked in a secluded spot at 2am in the morning…

Jeremy went with an Invidia Q300 exhaust system… Perfect for when VTEC kicks in yo.

Side profile of Jeremy’s S2K which shows the fender work done… For those who are familiar with S2K’s, when doing this mod, you pretty much go 0-100 real quick… There’s no turning back on the cutting of the stock body and fenders. Jeremy’s the first brave soul on Guam to do this on an S2K…

Jeremy’s S2K sits on Buddy Club N+ racing dampers, Cosmis Racing XT-206Rs paired with Sumitomo HTR-ZIII… He mentions that though the whole build took only a month’s time to put everything together — the hardest part was collecting all the goodies — which took well over a year and around $11,000 invested. Just look at that paint pop…

Another view of the ASM style front bumper paired with a custom splitter by Galvez Customs in California; The side splitters also from Galvez…

Rolling out of Offset Kings Guam 2015, Jeremy’s first show, he managed to score the prestigious “Best Honda Award” which is no easy cake walk… I really hope to see this car again at our shows in the future. Jeremy says that this build just might be done and if offered the right amount, he might be willing to part ways… My message to you is… Don’t do it! haha.

Jeremy would like to give a shout out to his friends and family, but more specifically, to his girlfriend Char, brother Josh, and father, Noy.

— “Thank you for giving me the push I needed to make one of my dreams come true.  For all the others, (you know who you are!) thank you to all of you as well. Also, I have to give a shout out to my homies Jed and Brandon of FPS Photo Video for the coverage of my car!”
