HAFADAZE RANDOM

Yes, we’re alive.

Just want to apologize to everyone for the lack of updates to our site… Since we “stopped” the GU’NITEZ and when our “big” Halloween event fell through, the urge to post new content just hasn’t been there. It doesn’t help at all when that there really isn’t much to cover car scene-wise on Guam (at the moment). The rainy season is upon us, so anyone who does a car event is pretty much taking a chance that their event will get rained out. I’ve heard through the grapevine that UPSHIFT Stance Fest is going to make it’s return sometime in February or March. I’ve also heard that the Simon A. Sanchez High School Class of 2012 is also planning their car show sometime early in 2012. So we do have something to look forward too (other than the GU’NITEZ of course…) πŸ˜‰

So what’s new? Well, I logged onto Facebook early this morning on my Iphone4 and saw an update from StanceNation featuring Jimmy Mendoza’s “Black Stallion” – which we featured here on Hafadaze almost one year ago – check out the feature here. The car has had some subtle, but pretty major changes, since then – including the full Supermade body kit and the SR20 motor swap in the kandyied bay. If you read the article we did, Jimmy said he wasn’t planning on doing the SR20 swap… but he went ahead and did it! He’s also been piloting his other SR20 powered 240 at the strip – running consistent 12’s. Must be nice!

The StanceNation feature is awesome but in even bigger news – Jimmy’s tying the knot! I just viewed his engagement video done by James/JTD Studios… and it’s a tear jerker. Congratulations to you homie! πŸ™‚

We’ll be back soon with more kaduku updates – stay tuned for my Toyota Tacoma 4×4 build and more random ass posts… Thanks for sticking with us!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there, from the Hafadaze familia!
