The sun shined gorgeously on July 30th at the Fontana California Speedway where Super Street held a car meet along with their FF battle and a hot dog eating contest. Clearly, I was there for the hot dogs, but as a treat for you Hafadaze followers, I took some time off to take photos for your visual pleasure. As you might notice in the photo above, the previously featured Honda Civic Si has been full stripped since, and is running DEDEDO plates in California! (In the meantime at least).. Represent!

After my mental orgasm over seeing this particular vehicle, I proceeded to take photos of what I thought would be interesting, being that my knowledge of cars (let alone Hondas) isn’t as deep as the other Hafadaze guys. The scene was laid out pretty much like this: a parking lot full of cars (participating in the FF battle and just hanging out), across the street was the actual raceway where racers tormented their vehicles and pushed them to the limits (why would they do that? show for the win, right?) and the hot dog contest was no where to be found… or maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough. In any case, I wasn’t planning to be there for long, just dropping by to see what’s up. Here are more pics:

 

Pictured in this last photo was the only 8th Gen participant in the FF battle, to make it even more unique he was personally invited by Super Street, he’s 21, and he’s Filipino, represent! I spoke with him for a bit and he told me he wasn’t doing so well, that his brakes were acting up, non-the-less, I gave a kababayan my full support.

This will be first of the many events I plan to attend out here in California. The more I get familiar with the place, the more things i’ll have to share with you all. There’s an annual Honda Meet taking place on August 28 which I plan to be attending. Stay tuned for more from Hafadaze in California!
