Car shows are fun.
Planning a car show? That’s a different story. At the end it’s all worth it, we’re sure. But in the meantime, let’s run down some of the things that bug you even in your sleep:
1) How many cars plan to “show?”
It’s in typical fashion (at least in our experience) that people register their cars later than sooner. It makes sense, registering your car for a show isn’t like renewing your registration, buying groceries, going to school, or taking your girlfriend out to dinner. But i’ll tell you what — registering your vehicle before March 31st will save you 10 bucks on your vehicle registration, groceries, cafeteria food, and that expensive bill that you’re eventually gonna pay for your date with said girlfriend.
2) Who and how are we gonna judge these cars? (First time car show hosts — #YOLO)
Car shows are fun, remember? Planning it? Ugh. It’s high school all over again doing research and trying to make deadlines. We’ve spent some time finding criteria formats that will meet the “simple” goal we have in mind for judging vehicles at the fiesta. Judging your vehicles on the 13th will be like turning in homework to your teacher. At that point, your teacher will know whether you REALLY took the time to do your homework. In our case, we’re aiming for that A.
3) What the hell are we gonna do during the show to keep the people going?
We’ve had a bunch of ideas come about, and then fall. I, personally, learned what a CYPHER was. It’s basically what bboys say when they wanna hang out. “Hey bro, wanna go cypher?” Lol. Shout outs to all the bboys — maybe some day we’ll really sit down and discuss a CYPHERFIESTA. Thank the heavens above that we have Drag Racing going on that night cause if we didn’t, we’d probably have to plan a bracket for our STILL IN THE WORKS hot dog eating contest. Could you imagine a preliminary, semifinals, and finals for the hot dog eating contest? That wouldn’t end too well.
