SSHS Auto Showdown 2012 – Part 1

Hafa adai HAFADAZERS! Haven’t had “car show” coverage in awhile huh. Actually, I think the last time there was some sort of meet was the last GU’NITEZ we had last year. It’s been that long; I think? Someone correct me if I’m wrong. We’ve been hearing about the Simon A. Sanchez High School Class of 2012’s car show for a couple of weeks now. This show was the season-starter so to speak – Chillin/Grillin by Stance Appeal is coming up in April. Stancefest II is still in the works. I also heard that Car Audio Image might be planning one. Hafadaze was a part of the first two Auto Showdowns organized and as usual – we promised that we would be there again in some way (we did judging before – and we all definitely knew that we would NOT accept that kind of responsibility again! hahaha!)

This year was definitely the smallest of the three that we’ve attended. Foot traffic wasn’t what I expected it to be – but that’s cool – I’m pretty sure the Senior class earned some good mula for their graduation. As far as car entrants, the turnout was decent. Also, just wanted to throw this in there… but this event was organized COMPLETELY by the students and their advisors. It was no Hot Import Nights, but I continue to be impressed every year by how well things turn out. Great job SHARKS! Also, big ups to all the car clubs who came out to support a good cause – Guaranteed, Ill Dynasty, Menace 2 Society, Made to Excite, Abunai, Rivalz, Import Creations, and everyone else – sorry if I forgot anyone! Marvin’s IS definitely needs no introduction. I hate seeing pics of this car because it’s just sooooooo well done that it makes me want to drop some $$ to get back into the scene! 🙁
