HAFADAZE! Not everyday on this, sunny island of Guam do you see a car like Ralph Wolford’s 1993 Honda Accord. It’s all stock engine-wise, but it definitely packs some heat in the visual department. You don’t notice one thing about his car…you notice everything, like the Thule roof-rack that he bought from a good friend, me! Aside from the roof-rack, this super soliku ride has a set of rollers that you frequently see with the guys in the mini truck scene… the Hardbodies, Hiluxes, and B2200s. We’re talking about 15 inch Welds which he has reverse offsetted. He’s got the Welds in 15×8 sitting poked up front while the 15×7 sits flushed in the rear. The wheels are wrapped up with the Guahan famous Federal 595 super steels all around. He’s got an arsenal of other eye keki candy on his car to make your mouth water, like drooling over auntie Mary’s pot of chalakilis.

I’d like to think of Ralph’s car like a fiesta plate. He’s got a bit of everything like JDM front and rear foglights, Skunk 2 exhaust, Spoon mirrors, Accord trunk lip, OEM Accord hood bra, and HID headlights. Inside, he kept it simple with the 5 panel rear view mirror that all the Honda guys are sportin’, as well as JVC player and a Warren G Edition 900 Watt amp to power the JBL front and rear speakers and 12” Rockford P2 Subwoofer.

You’ll see Ralph rollin’ down Tumon or Agana to and from work with this daily driven neck breaker! If you haven’t noticed, this thing is more slammed than your cousin Kin’s home-made Lowrider bike. I’ve seen his car quite a few times and it never ceases to break my focus from driving down the pothole infested road we call Marine Drive.

I’ve known Ralph for quite some years now and he isn’t an amateur with this “ONE-OFF” style of auto tuning. When asked how he got into the tuning buzz he jokingly replied with “from The Fast and the Furious….HAHA! Just kidding!!” It all started when he picked up his first issue Import Tuner magazine in August of 2001. He was so hooked to the issue that he even remembers the issue number, #29, and the model that was on the front cover, who was Christine Mendoza. He still has the magazine til this day. He probably lekluk’s to the magazine when he has the chance! HAHAHA, just messing Ralph!! In all seriousness, he also caught the buzz watching GRIP and 360VM DVDs with his homeboys. Ralph remembers saying to himself “Nice Cars and Hot Chicks, I could get used to that lifestyle….”

And nice cars he did have. His first car was a ‘96 Toyota Tercel Coupe (aka Tercedes). It sported a Chameleon paintjob and whole bunch of goodies. He’s owned other cars like every drifters dream car, an AE86 Corolla, and also a ’90 DA Integra. The Integra still sits in his garage, being built slowly, but surely. Ralph’s got a bunch of tricks up his sleeve and I’m sure his next build will be just as good if not better than what he’s got now. The Accord was supposed to be a daily driver, but the tuning bug hit him hard! He’s got future plans like doing a H22 motor swap with an automagic transmission, and yes I said automagic! You’ll see when it’s done!

Since he’s sporting the ‘Cali style’ of 4door tuning I asked him his views on the “HellaFlush/Stance” movement on Guam. He replied with “Man, Guam’s got a lot of potential. We just need someone with the proper tools to pull and roll fenders.” He also wanted to remind people “it’s FORM > Function, but make sure its something you really want to do.” Ralph added, “People just need to accept and understand the whole concept of the HellaFlush/Stance scene.”

Rust and dents aside, his car truly encompasses a lot of the different styles of car tuning in one package.

A few shout-outs going out to his Toyz “R” Us Club Rendezvous Badd Influence Fams, also his boys in Exceeding The Limit, George and Sons Auto Body and Performance Engineering, Fatlace, Proline, Car Audio Image, HAFADAZE, of course his mom and pops, and last not least  Shari Dominique Devera.

  1. @ scott … who cares about show stopping cars.. this is hafadaze they feature ordinary people that are proud of thier rides…who are on the budget with kids to feed and get avarage or low paid jobs…just wait and see wat HD has to offer they still new but they blowing it up… mad props to the writers and photographer of HD… i think everyone should introduce themselves with thier rides

  2. Thanks for the feedback, Scott.

Our goal isn’t to get the showstoppin’ cars all featured. Although that would be ideal, we’d eventually run out of the “500.”

We want the masses to be represented… Everyday people with their everyday cars.

  3. The cars on this website are marginal at best. There has to be easily 500 cars on Guam that look much better than what is featured on this site….

  4. i think the photographer did a fucken badass job with all the angles made this car look good cuz i seen this car in person and it really doesnt look all that… but thumbs up for being original though…
