CAR CULTURE HAFADAZE

OKGU: The Return of the Kings part 2…

In case you missed part 1 of our Offset Kings Guam coverage, check it out here

Car enthusiasts once again came out with a nice showing… Car clubs like Team Murata and Made to Excite  all came out to showcase the builds they’ve been working on. The blue Teg here is Jimmy Tsang’s with some new mods – Airlift suspension, Spoon SW388s, and a redone trunk setup. It was definitely one of the most complete builds at the show. Was genuinely surprised he didn’t take home an award…

Just another view of the cars and random peeps… By the way, thanks to John Guiking aka “ironknuckles29” on Instagram for providing these shots for part 2 of our coverage. Check out his Flickr stream for more.

Civic coupe from Lowered 2 Perfection posted up with our Japanese car crew inspired “Soy Ramen” decal. Those were definitely a big hit…The guys from ismart and otascars (Japanese tuners who flew in for the show – check them out) definitely got a kick out of it. It’s perfect – we all love ramen and food brings us together…I’m pretty sure most people reading this can remember a time when you were with your homies cruising to Paseo or whatnot and said let’s go chow at Fuji Ichiban…lol

Front shot of the Civic… She’s been kept clean since the last time I saw it…

This WRX from MTX was definitely a head turner… Bagged on VIP modulars… The scene has really elevated recently with many tuners coming out with some $$$ wheels.

Another bagged-Subie from MTX.

Marvin Delos Santos from Guaranteed came out with copper dipped Weds Kranze and a 3rd place award in the VIP category… some sick fitment. He’s definitely killing the Lexus game here on island with not only the work on his car, but of many of the other cars you see out at the shows…

… like AJ’s custom-painted Ferrari grigio medio IS350…man… can’t get over how everything flows so well with his build. If I magically had one of these cars sitting in my garage I probably would have ended up modding exactly the way he did. I’ll say it right now… this was my favorite car of the show. Awesome.

Will Taladoc’s aka will_for_real_so_what_the_deal’s custom-orange IS350… This guy was trying to be sneaky posting up photoshopped pics of his car on Instagram… lol. You’ll probably be seeing more of this car on here in the future. 😉

Last year’s Best of Show champ, Bert Delos Reyes stepping it up with a Futura brake setup…Heard his car went straight back into the shop after the show to start preparing for next year… Ballllllllin’!
