Dennis’ Junction Produce Build Part 2

It’s been a month and a half since I first posted Part 1 of Dennis’ Junction Produce build… but I finally found some time and motivation to present you guys with Part 2. His GS300 is actually complete and sitting outside his house as I type this. However, he’s still waiting for some other parts to come in before he finally allows Irwin (or me) to get in a real photo session in of his beloved ride.

If you’re just joining us now, the last time I left off was with the GS still at Tenorio’s Autobody Shop getting worked on…

Remember how I said the roof was all messed up last time? Well, they fixed it…

Stripping and prepping for entry into the paint booth!

Some of the parts off along with the Junction body panels.

And it’s done…. sorta.

Doors

Sideskirts

Just gonna throw this shot of the roof in there for good measure. Nice and smooth.

So the car is supposedly painted… but Dennis provides me with more pics… and I see this above… and I’m like ????

I thought it was all done, but Dennis says that they wanted to do it all over again to make sure imperfections were minimal to non-existent. Wow.

So here it is again back in the booth, ready for it’s final spray.

Dennis went ahead and ordered brand new headlights to match the new paint.

All done!

I was going to save this pic of the GS being pieced back together for Part 3, but I know some people have already seen these pics and maybe even the car out on the road already. Since the GS has been out of the shop, I think Dennis has driven it less times than he’s bought new clothes the past 5 years because of all the money he’s spent on it! lol

Falkens mounted on the Scaras…. drooooooooooooooool.

A couple more details and tweaks and Dennis’ build is done! It’s been years in the making and I’m really stoked to see it nearing completion. We’ll be back with Part 3 in a bit.

Esta!
